Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Gino is a stray cat who was found not neutered and not chipped and handed into the vets where he has been staying, waiting and waiting for a home. Gino has now been neutered thank goodness. He is about 3 years old, is playful and affectionate and has melted everyone's hearts.

If you are interested in adopting Gino please email stokeycatsndogs@gmail.com and they will be pleased to send you an application form. Please note home checks apply.

Stokey Cats and Dogs are a local volunteer group who rescue local cats. It's vital that cats are neutered as there are so many homeless cats. They rescue cats and get them neutered, microchipped and rehomed. They desperately need and welcome funds donated by the community on their fundraising page here or you can donate via paypal to stokeycatsndogs@gmail.com. Please also contribute directly to payment of Stokey's vet bills by calling CHAT vet clinic tel 0207 474 8811 and say you wish to make a payment towards Stokey Cats vet bill. They also have a Wish List on Amazon and have a Stokey Cats and Dogs Facebook group and Stokey Cats Blog where you can read all the latest news on their rescue cats.

(If you can't offer a permanent home to a cat, Stokey also urgently need more fosterers - which means providing a temporary home for a cat until a permanent home is found. Can you help? You don't need to have a garden to temporarily foster. If more people foster, Stokey will be able to help more homeless cats). Short term or long term fosterers are always needed. If you email Stokey, they will be pleased to send you a foster care application form to join their volunteer foster carers network. Email stokeycatsndogs@gmail.com (

Urgent appeal for help - Two female cats need a home urgently as their owner has sadly died. They are currently being fed in a flat in N4, but they can't stay in the flat much longer so they urgently need a home. They are approximately 8 years old. If you can't offer a permanent home, can you offer a temporary foster home until a permanent home is found? It's very hard for these 2 lovely cats to sadly lose their owner and their home. If you might be able to help, please email stokeycatsndogs@gmail.com and they will be pleased to hear from you. Please note home checks apply.
