Harringay local brings Cuba to Green Lanes

Long time HoL member and local resident John Harris is bringing his Cuban Salsa experience to Harringay. On 12th May he's holding a Salsa for Beginners workshop in the hall on the corner of Allison Road.

The workshop will run from 9.30am - 11.30am. The cost is usually £30 per person, but you can take along a friend for no additional charge - or go alone and receive a free Che Guevara banknote.

If you already have some salsa basics up your sleeve, workshops for improvers and intermediates will also be run later in the day.

In addition to his classes locally, John leads two salsa holidays to Cuba each year where holiday makers are matched with a local dance partner. His Harringay workshops follow the same format with experienced dance partners provided - though he's not promising they'll be Cuban!

Advance booking is essential so John and his team have the correct ratio of leaders to followers.
