Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi - I'm looking to remove the cast iron fireplace and replace it with a wood burning stove ... BUT the slate outer fire surround needs to be moved to get it out ,,, So I'd love to know if anyone knows of a not too expensive fireplacey person who could help.. please. Some one mentioned a fireplace specialist next to stamford hill station??
thankyou

Hi we recently had our old but modern surrounds etc removed and two reclaimed cast iron Victorian fire places + mantles + new hearths installed supplied by the the shop next to Stamform Hill station (Great Fireplace Revival co.) and we had his recommended fireplace installer to do it. Sorry don't have installer's number to hand (name Carl) but am sure shop owner could give you the details. We were very happy with the work we had done and reasonably priced I think (certainly compared to quoted given from Crouchend/Tottenham Lane shop).
We had a replacement Cast Iron fireplace put in by these guys next to the Stanford Hill Overground Station as well about 5 years ago - it was a great service.
We wanted a specific fireplace to match the others in the house ( the original ones installed in the Gardens Estate )
We had to wait about 5 months and he gave us a ring and he had got exactly what we wanted to match the others in the house
Great so they researched - supplied and fitted it.
