Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

A permanent home (or temporary foster home) is urgently needed for this found cat, otherwise she is at risk of being put down.

She was found in North London (no microchip, no collar, no owner found).

She is young (about 2 to 3 years old) and healthy. Home checks apply. Please can someone help.

Who found her? Why is she in danger of being put down? I'd take her if I didn't already have 3 other rescue cats. BTW, for anyone who thinks they'd rather

Well done Rachella for having rescue cats.

Stokey are a small group who help rescue cats in North London. (It's best not to take a found unmicrochipped cat or dog to the RSPCA for homing as many are put down).
The reality is that if people don't get their pets neutered and microchipped, more cats and dogs are at risk of being put down as homes can't be found for them all.
Thousands of healthy cats and dogs are put down by places like the RSPCA because they are inundated with homeless or lost animals or abandoned pets.
Everyone can change this  - by simply getting their pets neutered and microchipped before letting them outside unsupervised and giving permanent homes to rescue animals.
There are an estimated 9 million homeless cats and dogs in the UK and 55% of cats are strays. I always encourage people to adopt a pet, not buy or breed.
Stokey never put a healthy cat down - they wish to prevent that happening to this cat by trying to find a home for this one and others.

A good home has now been found for her.

There are more animals needing homes here and more here
