Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi All,

Hoping that someone can provide some advice. I’ve been successfully finding tradespeople on HOL for years, but unfortunately for a job on my kitchen I went with a recommendation from a friend and it really didn’t work out. At the time, I made my peace with the poor work and got someone else in to fix it, however less than a year later, the works the original builder carried out are failing with serious cracks. Builder is in dispute that this is as a result of his work, I would like to get an independent assessor to see if it is an issue with the building or an issue with his work. Can anyone recommend an assessor? Or is it a surveyor I’m looking for?

Lesson of the story is we’re very lucky to have HOL to find tradespeople! Thank you!

Sorry to hear about this. Very distressing. I have used Colin Rickard in the past https://sites.google.com/view/north-london-surveyor/home. He is really good and says it how it is!!

if he can’t do it he will know someone who can. And he doesn’t do things for the sake of it.

Thanks Emma, I’ll get in touch with him.

Good luck!

I second the recommendation for Colin. He did our party wall agreement and was very efficient and thorough.

Thank you!
