Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

We've just found this poor little thing sitting in our flower bed. We live on one of the Ladder roads. It's got a horrible head injury and we can't tell if it's recent or not. Either way, we're going to call the RSPCA for advice, but if it's your cat please can you message us urgently as he/she needs help!

This looks like the same cat I saw today. It often hangs out around the Duckett’s Common end of Raleigh Rd. I think it might belong to someone on the odd numbered side.

I live too far to be able to get involved but please contact Cats Protection for advice how to help this cat, must be in so much pain.

They will be able to trap it and treat it - as if owned clearly owner did not seek help for this poor cat

This cat hangs out at the Duckett’s Common end of Raleigh Rd near #105 and was there again this evening when I walked by. I don’t know who it belongs to but it has always looked cared for in the past. The head injury is an open wound with a big flap of flesh hanging off, It really does need to be treated by a vet. i am not able to catch this cat by myself as I have a dodgy arm but am happy to help out if anyone wants to have a go. It is a friendly little thing. Meanwhile I will ring the Cat Protection people first thing Monday for advice.

Just posted this on your new thread, Jane, but copying it here too.

I've just been back down Raleigh Road calling for it but no joy (we don't live on that road, but back onto it). It's definitely not at 105a/b - a child in my child's class at school lives there and they've said they've seen the cat but it doesn't live there. There's a huge HMO on Willoughby Rd (no 20) that backs onto 105 Raleigh - it may be from there. But I don't know what we can do to catch it if it's nowhere to be seen. Plus we tried to pick it up when it was sat in our garden and it got spooked and ran off - we are cat lovers, have cats, so we were being ultra careful with it. It must be really hurting if Jane says it was previously friendly.

@jane, i cross posted about this cat on FB on Crouch End Cat Appreciation Society and some posted back with this:

Terri Alan I've spoke to RSPCA rescue, she had advised me that number is wrong, can someone advise number to call is 03001234999, they will help with cat, he will not be PTS, please update as I can't seem to long on to HOL, thanks......

If you or someone out there can please get the cat safe inside your home, Stokey Cats & Dogs will arrange to collect the cat from your home and take the cat to the vet as needs urgent vet treatment. (The cat can also be scanned there to check if microchipped). Stokey Cats & Dogs are also a member on HoL.

Hi Justine - see above. I've been calling for it and looking it but it's nowhere to be seen at the moment.
