Just posted this on your new thread, Jane, but copying it here too.

I've just been back down Raleigh Road calling for it but no joy (we don't live on that road, but back onto it). It's definitely not at 105a/b - a child in my child's class at school lives there and they've said they've seen the cat but it doesn't live there. There's a huge HMO on Willoughby Rd (no 20) that backs onto 105 Raleigh - it may be from there. But I don't know what we can do to catch it if it's nowhere…

Plus we tried to pick it up when it was sat in our garden and it got spooked and ran off - we are cat lovers, have cats, so we were being ultra careful with it. It must be really hurting if Jane says it was previously friendly.
If you or someone out there c…tag:harringayonline.com,2019-04-29:844301:Comment:11631262019-04-29T05:52:19.181Ztulipshttps://harringayonline.com/profile/tulips

This cat hangs out at the Duckett’s Common end of Raleigh Rd near #105 and was there again this evening when I walked by. I don’t know who it belongs to but it has always looked cared for in the past. The head injury is an open wound with a big flap of flesh hanging off, It really does need to be treated by a vet. i am not able to catch this cat by myself as I have a dodgy arm but am happy to help out if anyone wants to have a go.
This looks like the same cat I saw today. It often hangs out around the Duckett’s Common end of Raleigh Rd. I think it might belong to someone on the odd numbered side.

Our cat who was seriously injured by a fox was not old at the time (he's since passed away, hence why I referred to him as our old cat) nor was he a kitten. I also know of other "middle aged" cats on the Ladder who have been attacked by foxes.

I think we'll have to agree to disagree on this!

We can't put food out unfortunately because there is a pack of foxes roaming our gardens at the moment and we'd be putting our own cat and our neighbours' cats at risk of being attacked. We're looking out for it constantly though and are hoping it will come back so we can help it.
