Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

This might be akin to asking how long a piece of string is BUT...

Would anyone on the ladder who has done a loft conversion (with 2 rooms and an en suite) be willing to share how much they spent, how long it took and also provide any builder recommendations?

Just starting to look into this and no real idea of cost or where to start. Any advice gratefully received.

Thanks!

Selina

Dan James seem very popular in the area and were excellent for us and those we know. I think the average footprint cost is around £40k and I would cost an additional 20% for a good finish but you can spend what you want to be honest. Hope this helps

Including vat?

Yep
Hi Selina, I've just had a loft extension - if you pm me happy to give you full details.

Thanks

Julie

Hi Julie could I also - am in the same boat - looking to do - no idea.

Do these costs people quote include VAT - seems cheap. Did you use Dan James?

We used Dan Hames. Very happy with them. Have just pm-ed you

Sorry, that was Dan James- from a mobile and with sausage fingers....

Hi Justin - please can you forward the PM to me as well - in the same position - looking for details.

I asked Dan James to quote for a side return and they were comfortably the most expensive. I'd consider shopping around for other quotes.

try Niall Bracey 07830 114 822 niallk@talktalk.net he did our flat conversion and is very reasonable.
