Mapping My Story - A Free Creative Map Art Workshop at Bruce Castle Museum

Led by Siân Pattenden, book and map illustrator  - Saturday 9 November, 10am-1pm

The workshop will be thinking about maps in this workshop to create your own personal map - based on the local area. Why not add your own style and your own history, stories and memories to your map?

Using collage, lettering, colour and patterns, Siân will lead you into making your own personal mark on a map and recording your own journey and memories.

Map layout supplied. Just add your own art to it. No previous experience in art or drawing or collage necessary; Siân will help and guide you through the process, and teach you different techniques.

At the end of the workshop you will have produced a unique and individual piece to take home.

All art materials supplied (bring any of your own illustrations you wish to use).

This workshop is aimed for adults.
