Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Our last Origami session was very popular! So we will be running a special 2-part origami workshop at Community Crafternoons. Part 2 is scheduled for Tuesday 6th August at 1pm. (If you can only attend one session, that is fine).

This time, we will be concentrating on 2D modular origami techniques for making a variety of mandalas, medallions or rosette shapes for Greetings Cards. This technique has also been called TeaBag Folding due to the use of empty teabag wrappers.  (Image above originally posted by amzn.to, (https://pin.it/5bfzt2nnlbyycv).

Modular Origami uses multiple similar shaped components to create a stunning new design. Why not join us to learn a new craft technique and make your own Origami greetings card. Any paper with a repetitive pattern can be used so if you have some left over gift wrap, join us to upcycle your stash. All materials supplied. Suitable for beginners and adults of all ages.

Community Crafternoons meets fortnightly on Tuesdays 1-4pm, at Aladdin’s Cafe,1 Hazellville Road N19 3LW. Sessions are FREE on purchase of food or drink from our host Aladdin’s. For more details see Instagram: @crouchendcrafter, #communitycrafternoons.
