Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Does anyone still have an original fireplace and hearth in one of their bedrooms?  I am really keen to try and find out what our original hearth would have looked like - at the moment it is just rough concrete so I am assuming that the original hearth has been removed.  Any photos would be much appreciated.

We have original tiled fire places and hearths in the downstairs rooms but wonder if the upstairs fireplaces would have been less fussy.

Ahh, thank you Alex. That is exactly what we are after, very similar blue.

There is an architectural salvage place up at crews hill. loads n loads of fire places , you might find what you need up there. I'd phone them first tho.

Are they still in operation the website isn't functional?

I used them in the past but haven't been up there for some time now!

Try the architectural salvage place on Essex Road

They are extremely knowledgeable about what would have been originally in a wide range of properties and have the advantage that much of their stock comes from similar North London properties.
