Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Stopped on Turnpike Lane to get some takeaway, randomly went into Paradise Restaurant. It did not look the cleanest which i only noticed after i ordered.

So when i was leaving i looking in the window to see the Food Standards rating which they are legally required to have "in a prominent place" i could not see one. Alarm bells

Got home googled it

Next time you need to eat over that way try Folkhouse on Westbury Ave or Autograf on West Green Road. Both smashing.

Thanks Osbawn, I walk past Folkhouse all the time, I will check it out, whats good in there?

It's compulsory in Wales to show the score but not in England.

Shame because Paradise food is very tasty- some of the best freshly baked naan in the area!

I’d recommend eating at Le Chamarel along there, which is a fantastic Mauritian restaurant.

thanks will check it out

Great curries and a sparkling clean kitchen at Salim's (turnpike lane, near Wightman Road). Since c.1978.
(Food Standards Rating 5 out of 5)

Sounds like trouble in Paradise.

We also love Salims
