Post rammer / sledge hammer wanted

One of the many great things about harringay online is the fact that you can borrow something from somebody who already has it, rather than shell out yourself for something that will most probably sit idle in the shed until somebody asks you if they can borrow it, or shell out for rental

This is particularly useful for things that are either very expensive (I've borrowed the use of a cider press, and been offered the use of a rotovator) or things that you'll only use once or twice (I've borrowed axle stands, a drain unblocker, a set of sprinklers, and no doubt various other things over the years)

Paeans of praise aside, I wonder if anybody might be able to lend me a post rammer, or sledge hammer. I've bought a stake for my quince tree which was bending over in all the rain and wind and have managed to get it only so far into the ground with my wooden peg mallet - it's time to bring out the big guns, but my own sledgehammer's handle snapped off. can anybody help me?
