Scaffolding
We would like to get our house painted but have fallen at the first hurdle in finding a company to do the scaffolding! We have tried to contact a few companies but they either don't answer the phone or don't actually do scaffolding any more! Any local and recent recommendations would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Do you have the painters for the job lined up? In my experience it's the guys who are doing the job who organise the scaffolding - they often have specific companies they are used to working with and certain requirements of the scaffolders according to the way they like to work. This might be why the scaffolders appear to be reluctant to deal with you direct.
