Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Street Art, Harringay Home Smoked Salmon & Bacon and Other Goodies in the Warehouse District Today

Anyone down in the Warehouse District today will have been on for a real treat. Not only is there the Green Fair with live music and great food, there's also a serious Street Art exhibition on in the Ex Fed Building.

Artist, I Jah Mo

Harringay Boy James Law smoking his Salmon and Bacon

James and his tasty home smoked goodies - contact James on Twitter at @thebigsmoke_ldn if you want to buy

James's very tasty smoked salmon

James's bacon

Unusual cakes from Bow Twinkle Bakes - for me it was Pine Nut & Apricot and a slice of Courgette and Lemon! Delicious

Yet again - another great couple of events from the warehouse folk. Thank you!

And you haven't missed it all yet if you get your skates on!

what a shame - we didnt know there was an exhibition!!!

looks great, missed it however as i didnt know it was on. i wonder if ho could send out a separate email, just showing the  one off events for the week? the ketchup is very good but often i dont read it all,

Sorry, Paddy - that ain't gonna happen. We put the events for the week at the bottom of every newsletter. You just need to scroll down. It ain't pretty and doesn't have the sophistication of publication like Time Out, but it is all there. I do advise people who rerunning free events that they should also add a forum post as well as an event listing. That way we all get chances to spot an event.

It's tough to keep up with everything in our busy lives. Along with Liz, I run HoL and I regularly miss stuff on the site and forget about other stuff that I've seen. I guess that's just life these days.

Like all the warehouse events been too, though, it was great. More coming this summer.

Well I hope the event was a success anyway. Maybe the organisers can put out a forum post saying how often they plan to have these events over the summer so those interested can keep an eye out for them. Other than what Hugh has mentioned ( more events this summer), would be nice to know how often these might be roughly, what included - exhibitions, music food etc, just to give a flavour of the events for next time. I for one would much prefer to stroll to somewhere local

Here's a heads up for the inHouse Festival 2015 later this month and early next month - and here's my report back from last year's inHouse.

Hi Hugh, have you or Liz considered using the Harringay Online Instagram profile a lot more? Would be good to gather up local enthusiastic snappers and more professional photographers for some local Instagram Meetups. See the last post was 114 weeks ago of hot nuts.

It's a time thing, Robert. So I'm afraid the Instagram, Flickr, Storify and Foursquare accounts are no woefully neglected.

No problem Hugh. I was just trying to see if that platform could be used to gather local snappers.

Thanks for the festival programme. I thought it was near the Chocolate Factory N22, but its south of St Anns hospital.N15 Lots of events in May will try and get down there .

Not really since it's in Harringay and South Tottenham!

here are the locations, i suppose nearest tube is manor house and then a 5 or 10 min walk

http://inhousefestival.uk/about-us/

i will probably walk there from turnpike lane, hermitage rd near homebase green lanes, or off st anns rd seems to get you quite close.
