Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Haringey Council are organising a power purchasing deal, where a lot of people come together in a group and look for offers from an energy company for their best power and gas deals. The idea is that a large number of customers is interesting to an energy company and will attract a much better offer than you or I going to them as individuals. This is being managed by Haringey on our behalf, and the more of us that join in the more attractive the offer will be.

What do I need to do?

Let us do the hard work and see if you could save money by switching your energy provider as part of a group. To sign up free and with no obligation

visit our Big Community Switch website (external link) to tell us you are interested in switching suppliers

to save money by 8 April 2013.

You do not need to live in Haringey to benefit from this opportunity – the offer can even be sent on to family and friends!

What is the Big Community Switch?

We are tapping into consumer power to help get you a better deal on your gas and electricity. The more people that register to switch, the better deal we will be able to negotiate. On 9 April a 'reverse auction' will take place where energy providers will offer lower and lower tariffs for people who have registered until the lowest bidder wins. Everyone who registers will be offered the opportunity to switch to a new deal, which you can choose to take, or not - there’s nothing to lose!
