The Hornsey Cultural Society

Dear HOL,

Thanks to the many of you who responded recently to my post regarding the inception of the by-no-means-pompously named Hornsey Cultural Society. It is encouraging to discover that so may local people share our view that Hornsey is in dire need of some culture..

To that end, our first event has been scheduled  and info will be put into the What's On section..

In addition to events featuring writers, we are looking to organise a book group to be held in the Three Compasses pub, Hornsey High Street, N8 7NX, in conjunction with Tim at AllGood Bookshop in Wood Green / Turnpike Lane..
