Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The Rare Spectacle of Intelligent, Incisive Commentary on the Coronavirus Crisis

If Andrew Marr isn't on your weekend newsfeed, he should be for today's programme.

This weekend he fond some great guests who did much better than the normal talking heads on coronavirus.

First up and particularly impressive was Professor Sara Gilbert Oxford University. She's leading an initiative to develop a vaccine and I thought the answers she gave to Marr's questions about the virus were in every case clear, open, intelligent and incisive. Worth watching just for her.

Next up, Angel Gurria, Secretary General of OECD did a decent job of answering questions on the economic impact of the crisis.

Finally, even new shadow chancellor Anneliese Dodds did a fair job.

The programme finished with Gove. Without bieng party-political, they all put him to shame and I couldn't bring myslef to give him more than a couple of minutes.

To get more clarity on what's what with the Coronavirus, this is a well-spent 45 mins or so.

Thanks for this. Yes just watched it

And also today I thought was excellent. Really interesting to speak to leaders abroad in Germany and Sweden, about their different measures. I though particularly the German fella was really insightful and also very humble. Yes they have prepared for this for years in reality, whilst our government hud and buried all the data, they thought was too terrifying to think about. And instead whittle away the nhs to shreds. And then their proganda to boost up the nhs all the time, as they know how disgusted we all are with them.
