The Wind Huffed and it Puffed....

.....and it blew down a much-loved blossom tree in Hewitt Road last night.

The tree was a favourite of Hewitters of all ages who loved it both for its blossom in springtime and, at Christmas-time, its pretty festooning of fairy lights. RIP Tree.

Sympathy to my neighbour whose car got a bit bashed up - and all the best with getting it fixed.

Well done to the Council for getting the fallen tree cleared away before noon.
