Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

There are currently five million people in England at high risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. If these trends persist, one in three people will be obese by 2034 and one in 10 will develop Type 2 diabetes. However, evidence shows that Type 2 diabetes is largely preventable.

Type 2 diabetes is a major contributor to heart attacks, stroke, kidney failure, and lower limb amputation, and is a leading cause of preventable sight loss in people of working age.

In March 2019, the Diabetes Prevention P{ogramme will be renewed and NHS England and Diabetes UK want  to hear your views on plans to make the programme even more accessible.

You can read more about the proposed changes in the information sheet and you can share your views by completing an online survey

The deadline for responses is 30th June 2018

As a Diabetic 2 , on Insulin and drugs. The earlier you are found to be suffering.                                          Some treatments and changes in Food. Some can Control it without Insulin or Drugs

Most Chemists can do Tests. Most can be sorted by Doctors are Pass onto Diabetic clinics at Local Hospitals

But the longer you leave getting tested can result in it effecting other parts of your Body.                            Which can not be corrected at a late date
