Volunteering

Does anyone here have a few hours they could give to help run a local children's play space?

Burghley road is a local children's community centre for under fives, based near Turnpike Lane tube, and is in desperate need of more volunteers.

There is a diverse range of roles available, and commitment can be flexible. You are welcome to bring your children with you when you volunteer. After you have gained experience volunteering, there are opportunities for roles running the charity, including trustee roles.

As well as being part of a great team, you get free entry for yourself and your children on the days you volunteer, and discounted party hire. Volunteering also looks great on CVs, and many volunteers have used their experience and skills gained to help them move onto paid employment.
