David Parnell is the man. Great guy. He's been used by people on HoL (including by me) for many years. He runs a free helpline. There's a link on his website.
ddress and ending up 4th in a queue on the phone, when I was cut off. Very reluctantly, I have to give up trying to talk to the bus police about this woman. I could give them a very good description of her. I also know the date, bus route and time of arrival of the bus.…
or national politicians are Borg-like entities. Much as though they are encouraged to stick to the scripts which policy wonks and think tanks devise for them.
The more local people treat them as robots lacking common sense and independent thought, the more the current speak-your-script-system is perpetuated.
Possible alternatives? Well, it depends on whether critics are serious in hoping to change minds. Or are they just having fun posting? If they are trying genuinely to contribute to this debate then isn't it essential to have mutual respect for people who disagree? And to seek to understand their points of view? In other words to seek to engage in dialogue?…

ting) and putting caps on holes that should have caps.
I have to admit, before Christams I was in the sewer at the front of the house for several hours clearing it out as it had blocked because the inception trap had clogged up (someing I could not fix but David did) and I came out traumatised - and I really use that word accurately. I was in pieces for the rest of the day, even going to bed at 8 and sleeping for 12 hours. I hated it! Dave on the other hand could care less. Unbelievable.
We put poison down (its in a contained area in our cellar, so nothing else can get to it), and so far no evidence of any visitors.
Fingers crossed, but this guy was incredible doing what he did, and for the time he took I think incredibly good value! Lets hope he has solved the problem, if so he has earned his money!…

do not associate a certain scent or smell with a predator that might be more dangerous than another. All it tells them is "there is something else living in this environment, it might be predatory - I need to be careful" - full stop!
I have seen mice on several occasion taking food from both cat & dog bowls whilst the animal itself is fast asleep nearby.
Mice require little more than the equivalent of 4 grains of rice per day to survive. If they can find in excess of this they cash it for leaner times. Once mice are in any crumbs, food spillages or dirty plates left on the side over night make a great feast as do insecure food waste bins.
The initial answer here in that case is "Don't give em an easy ride"! Clear up and secure ALL foods in airtight plastic or metal containers.
If you need more help or want to put an end to your mouse problem more abruptly then we offer a rodent exclusion procedure that is both tried & tested, won't break the bank and is guaranteed.
