Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Finsbury Park Cricket Pitch, Endymion Road, c1905

In the background, behind the row of trees are the houses running along Green Lanes, to the south of Hermitage Road. To the right of those houses is Northumberland House. On the extreme right is the cricket pavillion, which is still standing today.

That’s amazing ! I would love that now having sons who are mad into cricket .

my mum and dad used to play in the park as kids living on Eade Rd my mum always talks about the model village the park had and my dad said he and his brother had to run home one day as they saw a doodlebug or something over head during the war. I will show them this. They love to see photos of the park as they remember it .
