A mid-twentieth century map shows this as being off Tottenham Lane just to the south of the railway station.

I grew up just over the railway bridge, Whiteman Road side, but have never heard of this! Brain fuzz!..so what would be standing on this site now? Thanks :-)

It occupied the triangle of land towards the bottom left of the map below.

Yes, exactly. As you can see neither the street layout nor the street names have changed.
