Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

This photo was shot, looking north east from the corner of Trinity Road (the one that runs just north of the Civic Centre) and the High Road. Just out of shot, and to the immediate right of the photographer, is White Hart Lane.

A. E. Clark, Pianoforte and Music Warehouse was at number 246, two doors up from the Kings Arms which stood on the corner of White Hart Lane.

The image below shows the same view from Google Steet View 2019. The first block has replaced the Victorian buildings that stood between the King's Arms and Kings Road. In the old photo, just past Kings Road where the first terrace ends, the slightly taller building was replaced by another slightly taller facsimile of the original building erected in around 2010. Beyond that, the Victorian terrace survives for a distance.
