Sorry Adam. As is too often the case with some of these pics, you get just a limited amount of info, often from something scribbled on the back around the time it was taken when the context was assumed to be known.

If SHS, could the lady on the left be the no-nonsense taskmistress, Miss Osmonde, Arthur Astrop remembers from twenty years later?

What is certain though, is that the boys here would have probably seen service at the very end of WW1 and I guess a percentage wouldn't have survived.
