Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I think ths was taken just near the junction of Woodberry Down with Seven Sisters' Road - near the Manor House crossroads. This was a very very different Woodberry Down. The whole road was the site of just just 18 huge houses on the land where thousands now find homes. The houses on the south side of the road all had very large rolling gardens leading down to the New River and the reservoir. They must have been wonderful homes - if you could afford the gardener!
