Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Wireless Festival has been given permission to remain in London's Finsbury Park, provided performers do not swear or wear "offensive" clothes.

Haringey Council granted festival promoter Live Nation a licence after a review called for by campaigners.

Festivandals. Dont let them get you down.  My uncle lives on the carnival route off the "bella" rd (Portobello)  twice a year he has to put up with the pissing in his front garden and all the rest of it. Hes been there 50 years odd.  He says it don't bother him. He just cleans it all up or asks couple of the local youts if they wanna earn a scor£.  "Seeing young and senior people enjoying themselves makes it all worth while.   Kool guy is my uncks.

Again no real local input, people who decide on these things don’t live locally and just go home and don’t care

That’s my set cancelled then

Hope you were gonna play your "set" on technics 12-1210s  vinyl turntableism (without a beat counter like they do now! digital. Anyone can do it with not a lot of practice. 'saw/heard a brother running 4 once. "RAPATTACK" a pitched up Beethoven under a "masters at work beat" Tracey chapman strings riff with a Shirley bassy track for vocals.   Tight tight tight mixing. caressing the vinyl and crossfader with both hands.   Beautiful.        Extremely difficult.

Most people who swear don't even realise they're doing it.

No swearing? FFS.

A rapper that don't swear ... ForFarcesSake MC

It's hilarious that they think it's the swearing and "offensive" clothes that are the problem.

It's the attitude of the people setting up. Their sheer arrogance and assumption of ownership. The time it takes.

It's the scope of the site and the fences they put up.

It's the lack of cleaning up each night after the staff have their drinkies in the children's playground.

There is not a word of thanks to local residents for putting up with the disruption and lack of amenity.

Wow! Looks like the Wiggles will be rocking the show.

... or ABBA

Nah, their cothing too offensive.

That's Madonna the pop rapper out

Think the old fellas in the so called Friends of FP might be getting a little Hung Up
