Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Last weekend my butterfly rose &  erigeron were infested with aphids.

I hosed some off with water to keep the population from doing permanent

damage & waited.

This weekend I  was happy to see ladybird larvae feasting on the remaining

aphids. My rose is now totally clear & the daisy buds soon will be.

They really are voracious eaters!

It’s magical how nature will find a balance in gardens.

Harlequin ladybird larva.

Oh that’s what those little critters are! Thank you. I’ve seen them before and wondered.

I've had lots of harlequin ladybird larvae too. Never seen them before.
