Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Sticking with my theme of pretentious titles, here's our local park all dressed in reds and russets today.

How lovely. Lots of rain and wind over the next few days so make the most of it while you can.

Great colours! Pic 2 Silver leaf Maple. Pic 4 Hornbeams. Pic 7/10 Claret Ash Pic 9 Liquidamber

Thanks for that information, Stephen.

In particular I love the pastel wash of the claret ash and the striking colours of the liquidamber. (Great names, aren't they).

Yes they are. At our local Palace Gates Triangle we are lucky to have one of each! plus a Common Whitebeam https://www.flickr.com/photos/47046427@N03/8164197058/in/album-7215... (Other name for Claret Ash is Fraxinus angustifolia 'Raywood' not so lyrical....)

They are beautiful, but let's stick with the more lyrical first name you used!

Do you know the name of the tree by the lake?

Thanks for posting these ...

I don't think so. Whereis the dog training area?
