Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Haringey Event to Demand Transformation our Streets and Tackling Climate Change, 30th June

Haringey Living Streets and Haringey Cycling Campaign are holding a joint family friendly event at 1pm this coming Sunday, 30th June at the West Green Rd entrance to Downhills Park.

The group are asking for as many supporters on bikes, scooters, or on foot to let Haringey Council know urgent action is needed to transform our streets and tackle climate change. Can you join us and invite as many friends and family members as possible?

They say that they want our residents to be able to breathe clean air wherever they are in the borough. We need streets which promote healthier, safer, greener, environments for all in Haringey.

The full list of asks (created by Haringey Cycling Campaign and Haringey Living Streets members) is set out on the attached document

The group will be gathering outside the entrance of Downhills Park on West Green Road (by the entrance of Park View School, and Forks and Green Cafe).

They need people to arrive at 1pm prompt so that there are as many people as possible with them as they present the asks to our Cabinet Lead for Environment and other councillors.

It will be family friendly, there will be some placards so you can add your messaging if you like, and chalk/games to keep kids entertained.
