Advice Needed: Private Equity/VC Fund Management or Impact Investment Experience?

Possibly a long shot, but does anyone out there have any experience of VC/PE fund management? 

I and a friend are mid stream with developing a fund linked to a sustainability theme. It is being designed as an Impact Fund. 

I have some experience of fund management, but not the critical bit of actually setting one up. If anyone has any experience they are happy to share, and are happy for me to bounce queries off them to make sure we are not missing anything I would be much appreciative.
