Advice on purchasing a child's educational tablet laptop?

Hi All

Can anyone recommend a tablet or laptop that I can buy for a very bright 3/4 year old little boy?

Im looking for something thats more educational as he gets bored with anything thats more of a "toy". Any recommendations of brands would be welcome especially based on experience!
