Bridge Arts & Culture community drama project in Tottenham this summer!

Children and seniors join forces for a community drama project in Tottenham this summer!
Arts Bridge Charity have received funding from the Tesco Bags of Help fund to deliver a pilot for an intergenerational community project this summer. Our Tottenham will involve children and seniors living in Tottenham.
During the summer holidays, several Tottenham landmarks will be visited and explored, with the participants sharing stories of growing up in the area. Supported by the Arts Bridge team, children and seniors will create a theatre piece inspired by the stories and historical knowledge they have gathered. A performance will take place in the Bernie Grant Arts Centre courtyard on 25 August 2018.
Our sessions are jam-packed with drama, singing, dancing, arts & crafts and storytelling! Children involved will develop performance skills, build confidence and communication skills as well as gaining respect for elder members of our community and understanding the history of Tottenham and how the area has changed.

All 6 sessions: £60.00 per child*. Siblings (£30)

- Develop confidence through drama games and exercises
- Go an adventure through stories using storytelling, dance and song
- Develop their creativity through arts & crafts
- Build communication skills
- Gain respect for elder members of our community
- Explore the history of Tottenham and how the area has changed
- Take part in a performance at Bernie Grant Arts Centre
