Coppetts Wood / Glebelands is the large area of ancient woodland behind the big Tescos in Colney Hatch Lane.It used to be the site of a companion sewage works to Pinkham Way.
Since 1997, it's been a Local Nature Reserve. This is entirely due to the dedicated team of conservationists, led by Dr Ollie Natelson, who've been restoring this lovely area for the last 30 years or so.
Their annual Woodland Spring Festival will take place on SUNDAY, 26TH MAY, from 1pm until 4pm.
Music, food, locally brewed beer, community stalls, plants etc. (I understand that Extinction Rebellion will be there).
Well worth a visit. More details at:

If you're in a car, park either in Colney Hatch Lane, or take the road to the Summers Lane Recycling Centre (Porters Way) and turn left half way down. Buses go up Colney Hatch Lane.
