Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

finding a good local female GP

Can anyone recommend a local practice - I have to move(sob) from my fantastic been there for years practice due to new postcode - saw one called The Greens in Umfreville rd? Any thoughts? feedback on them (you can email me privately if nec.). I live on 'Gardens' towards Turnpike Lane end.

If you can register with Joanna Haas in Umfreville Rd practice, do so. She looks after a lot of the ladies round here.

Melanie Brothers at the Greens medical practice (umfreville road) is very good, friendly and thorough.

Well they are not taking new patients at the mo - but said will reopen list in a few weeks.... so thanks for the feedback

Umfreville Road blackballed us too a few years back, and were entirely charmless in doing so.
The Heron practice on Green Lanes (the other side of Manor House) has a wealth of female GPs (i think the proportion is something like 7:1) and comes highly recommended.

I agree she is excellent. V caring. The young male doctor who is also on TV apparently is also v good

I'm sorry, I didn't know there were 2 practices on Umfreville Rd. It's the surgery on the left hand side, at the start of Umfreville Rd, coming from Green Lanes. Good luck with your enquiries

Dr Joanna Hass at the Bridge Surgery, Umfreville Road is excellent. The practice is Dr Singer & Dr Hass.
