Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Dear Neighbours,
Happy Earth day !
I’d like to start a small but positive change on our part of Green Lanes, Haringey.
I'd like to encourage our local shops to use 100% degradable bags instead of the single use plastic bags.
I’m reaching out because the project would have a more realistic chance of success if I could find a few other like minded people willing to join in.
If anyone is interested in this, please get in touch with me on the email or phone number below.
Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you, Lara

Aware paper bags might be better

But in UK We have Rain and they soon fall apart when wet. Also likes of bottles & cans will split the bags

Seen many a paper bag break, full of shopping

Personally I brought a couple of Lidl's cloth bags , was .59 each have lasted years

Yes, cloth bags are best, especially when they get a bit grubby, lots of bacteria for out immune systems.
