Harringay Stadium Slopes, Update on post of 27th May (St Ann's Meadow).

It's good news, for the moment at least.  The council planning department will be putting Tree Preservation Orders on two large clumps of trees on the threatened land between Finsbury Park Avenue and Hermitage Road - see the areas labeled G1 and G2 in the attached document.  The council are just completing the paperwork.

This is thanks to conversations between the residents, the owners and the council, and the prompt and diligent action of council officials, who visited the site and drafted the Order in record time.  Wider publicity, including Harringay on Line, has probably not done any harm at all. Thanks for all the support and interest.
