Looking for inexpensive dishwasher repair/diagnosis

Looking for handyperson recommendations!

The door lock is not engaging on our aged Lamona dishwasher. I'd like to hire someone to have a look and tell me if it's the lock or something more serious. Because of the advanced age of said dishwasher, any serious repairs probably aren't worth it, but I'd like the opinion of someone with more dishwasher experience than myself.
