I suggest anyone but Neil Protheroe. Frequently recommended here but I found him very unreliable with less than perfect work. I could say more.

Neil Protheroe seems to be Schroedinger's plumber. He can be simultaneously excellent and dreadful.

I can happily recommend Neil Protheroe as a local plumber. After weeks of trying to contact plumbers (including Which? Recommended ones) and receiving no replies to my messages or being messed around until I gave up, Neil came to the rescue. Not only did he agree to the job straight away, he turned up as agreed, did the job very quickly and with minimal disruption, but also charged less than the previous extortionate rates I had been quoted. He also seems pleasant and friendly. And, no - I am not a friend/family member! His phone number is 07731 997936.
