Save the Phoenix Cinema

A campaign to keep The Phoenix Cinema in East Finchley as an independent, community cinema.

The Phoenix is London's oldest, continually running, purpose-built cinema. Constructed in 1910 and opening its doors to the public in 1912, it has welcomed visitors for over 100 years. It is an independent cultural and community hub that is now under threat.

At risk of being taken over by a chain of cinemas, it may lose its unique identity and much loved atmosphere.
