Forgive me, I didn't mean to offend the older generation, Just those ignorant to the drugs debate from the older generations.

John, feel free to chose your way of raising problems, I'm happy to do it on a public forum, seen by many, you seem to believe that everything should be done by private letters to your MP.

Each to their own. Personally i think you are completely failing to appreciate the digital age and new ways to challenge old ideas.

The problem is that Turnpike Lane became known as a place to buy drugs - so people travel there without knowing a dealer. This constant demand means people want to provide supply. This supply is becoming competitive. What is needed is for people turning up in the expectation that drugs are there to find non for a bit. When they turn up less supply falls and it doesn't end up being the gold mine it was in the past.

Frankly it's lapse policing that has resulted in the problems we have

The problem is daft laws outlawing a life style choice of millions of people which is healthier than the legal life style choices on offer and gifting that massive industry to the criminal community.

If criminalising drugs works then let's do it with the real offenders - processed sugar, alcohol and cigarettes. Otherwise let's be honest with ourselves, legalise, regulate and tax.

Pour hundreds of thousands of pounds on Turnpike Lane by all means. Who wants street dealers near where the live. It's a reasonable go to response but it's no real solution. You will just move the market a few streets away and it will cost you a class room on every new push.
