Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

This image was labelled as being "Rose Cottage" in Hornsey. If this is correct the building stood at the corner of Priory Road and Park Road at the foot of Muswelll Hill. It was demolished in 1902 to make way for the row of shops that stands there today.

However, looking at the 1893 OS map, the building outlines do not appear to match this small grouping of buildings. So the location is uncertain. The records show other weatherboarded cottages nearby.

I thought this might be alongside former Hornsey Town Hall.
