Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

1920s Green Lanes, Harringay - Reel 1

Hasn't changed at all really! The reel is made up up a collection of short pans. I think it probably starts in Wood Green. The last pan is Salisbury Promenade, at the bottom of Hewitt Road, and ends at the old Electric Cinema which stood on the corner of of St Ann's Road till quite recently.

Viewing such histories kind of really makes on feel earthed a bit more, reminding us of how mortal we all are, yet there is warm feeling at the same time with a kind of strange reassurance - eh yes, great stuff :-)

In the very last frames, notice the  ☞ Baths  sign (Conway Road) on the lamp post at St Ann's Road..
