A Look Inside Pandan Leaf Thai Restaurant in Crouch End

 

I found another new to me restaurant to point my camera at this week - Pandan Leaf Thai Restaurant on Crouch End Hill. Affable Thai owner "Golf", allowed me to take a few snaps and I even got to try a very tasty green curry.

Nice understated decor which I think works well.

I visited Pandan Leaf Thai on a particularly hot evening in July, and had a lovely evening with a friend, chilling out by the restaurant's large windows and enjoying the extensive menu of delicious Thai treats.
There's a great selection of starters, mains and deserts here, with an emphasis on slightly healthier cuisine than you'll find elsewhere - and I felt well catered-for as a vegetarian. There's also a very well-stocked bar, with a great range of cocktails.
The staff here are extremely friendly and welcoming, and ensure that guests have a good time with everything they need. The restaurant is spacious and stylish, with a laid-back atmosphere that would be great for families as well as groups of friends and couples - dishes are generally mild to moderately spiced, so will suit all ages.
Pandan Leaf hasn't been open long, but it's already a welcome addition in Crouch End and I can see it fast becoming a popular meeting spot.

A good green curry is surprisingly hard to find - Yum Yum's in Stoke Newington is the one I like best, and I tend to measure the others against it.

Yes, this is a really lovely place to visit. Food is beautifully presented and I'd love to go back with a larger group as it's so spacious. Will be recommending it to all my local chums!

We use them for takeaway and the food and service has been excellent.

We even got some complimentary beer with the last order.
