I have at home a spare ASUS laptop which is after fundamental refurbishment. I bought a new power supply, replace the hard drive for much faster one and re-installed the operating system Windows 10 up to the latest edition. The machine is looking really good and if you are not a demanding computer user in terms of speed you will be lucky. The computer is for general usage - surfing the Internet, writing Documents and watching Videos.I installed the Microsoft Office package ( Word, Excel and Power Point) and  Anti-Virus software.
