Beer and seeds evening at the Salisbury?
A little late I know but would anyone be interested in a get together at the Salisbury, probably in the week beginning 20th March, to drink beer, talk about gardening and swap seeds (and seedlings if any are ready).
The last one we had was great fun and we got lots of seeds (some of which went to local schools, the library project and into our street gardening projects).
Let me know below if you're up for it. If 4 or 5 people show an interest I'll set a date.

I'd be up for meeting again but unfortunately away until 22nd March. I could do the 23rd tho if you do organise anything.
I'm really late with my sowing this year so wont have any seedlings to swap for another month I reckon.

We'd be up for this, although it'll be seedlings for us, as we're going for the 'throw it all in' approach this year in an effort to get rid of the out of date seed backlog from previous years.
We could do early week beginning 20th, but we're away 23/24/25th. We could also do 26th, or 29th/30th?
There's always this week coming, too... (although it's short notice, no excuse for forgetting?) We can do any of that except Thursday.
Haven't been to the Salisbury for ages, do they still do pizza chips? Pizza topping on top of chips is Made of Win. Especially for the wheat allergic.

29th is the one evening I can't make. I have a few seeds to give but not much else. I'll drop them off with you Liz.
Very good garden day today. I made four trips to the great Haringey compost giveaway at Ally Pally. That's a great, if slightly smelly, initiative and I have now mulched three large beds and half a dozen trees.

yes I've still got some seeds I collected and may have a few plants and certainly lots of bay leaves.w/b Tues 20 March OK but busy Weds 21 evening and early Thurs 22 evening. Sue Penny.

29th good for me too, will bring some seeds and maybe some seedlings. Am always looking for things for the Woodlands Park Gardening Club too. See you there. What time?

Okay, it's looking like 29th will suit most people so I'll go ahead and set the date. I can probably make it there for about 7.30 if that suits people (I can probably get us a table at that time).
Thanks to Dick who has already passed on some seeds to me for the pot.
