Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I've noticed a black cat wandering around the back gardens of Duckett road and Cavendish road. It's been getting in to a few fights and has been crying for food in neighbouring gardens. I think it's got a silver or light coloured collar, but only seen it from a distance as it can't really get into my garden due to our cats defending territory. I don't know if it's male or female.

My neighbour and I have seen a cat matching this description on Mattison Road, and it's been playing with them in the garden today. It has a phone number on it's collar so we have called it's owners. They are on holiday for the weekend but reassured us the cat does have access to the house, and to food - although it has had also had meal from my neighbour! Suspect it is also after a bit of attention - it is a very sweet cat.

Thanks so much for replying. I really do hope it is the same one - altho worrying if it's over in Mattison road - dangerous for the cat as that means it's going through on the street side of Duckett road and at risk from cars. I've only seen it in the back gardens from a distance and it's wary. I didn't realise that my husband took a photo of it so I'll get him to put it on here soon anyway.

Here's a photo

Just a link to another post as might be same cat

Hi, I'm not sure if the one my neighbours and I have seen is the same as the linked post about Otis. The cat we have had around Mattison Road is called Perky (or perhaps Percy) - my neighbour has spoken to his owner, as he has a phone number on his collar. Perky/Percy is pretty friendly, and seeks out people/attention. Perhaps the one you have seen is a different one - two all black cats with silver collars are roaming the neighbourhood?!

Oh, I do hope everyone is reunited with their (correct) cats!

I've just seen a black cat, peeping out of slats in the top of a shed at the end of a neighbour's garden in Cavendish road. It looks like a rarely used shed and it has some slats open at the top at the back and I suspect the cat is living in there (hopefully not trapped by mistake). I don't know the number of the house on Cavendish road. It is on the side of Cavendish road nearest Duckett road, so I expect it's got an even number, about a quarter of the way down on the left if you're walking from Wightman road down Cavendish road. The shed is visible from my garden in Duckett road.
