Broken Down Whirlpool Fridge

I have a whirlpool fridge that seems to not be working. The  light is on (so there is power) and no chilling. I assume it is either the thermostat or the condenser/pump.

I have tried to see if there is a handy guide on't thintreweb and YouTube, but cannot find this model.

Does anyone have any experience of fixing a fridge before. Or, does anyone have a voltmeter to see if there is power going to the condenser.

I hope to buy a new fridge next year as part of some work we will do in the kitchen so I am reluctant to spend anything on it to be honest as it only needs to limp through to Easter...

Any thoughts/ advice/ help gratefully received.
