Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

This is quite a long shot, but our Bugaboo Frog buggy - secondhand, repaired by hand in several places & much beloved - is becoming unusable as the front wheels are starting to behave erratically.

Bugaboo don't sell Frog spares any more, and pairs of wheels come up only rarely on eBay (I just missed some). So, I'm wondering if there is any kind person out there with a Bugaboo Frog or compatible model with some front wheels that they're willing to part with.

I'm not sure if the wheels of other Bugaboo models will fit on the Frog, but can bring the chassis round to find out.

I've given away a lot of baby and kid stuff over the past few years on HOL, so I'm hoping that karma might result in the right person seeing this ...

Hi Tullie, have you tried replacing the washers? The wheels on our Bugaboo Bee were acting up, so we replaced them, and it feel like new now. There was also a lot of hair and random muck picked up from the road stuck in between the screws and washers, which I suspect was the main culprit, so just taking the wheels off and giving everything a good clean might do the trick.

That's a great idea, Annie - thanks for the tip. We've ordered some new ballbearings for the wheels from eBay and will see whether we can repair them ourselves, and will give everything a good clean at the same time.
